A warm and sunny day with a beautiful breeze greeted our Fathers day autocross participants. Congratulations to Jesse Birden with FTD and Joseph Lagdao for PAX FTD. Thirty-seven drivers were met with a challenging course with a mix of high speed sections and slower tighter sections. Drivers were given 11 runs to master the course.

We had a smaller crowd, but a fun time getting back to our old stomping grounds at the big lot at the Army Engine Plant. Thanks again to the folks that made this possible. Conditions were cool and dry. Everyone got 11 runs on a course put together by Tom Bracci and Rick Obert.

Beautiful weather at Lime Rock on Saturday May13 provided fifty competitors ten runs to improve their times on grippy pavement and a great course design by Tom Bracci. Congratulations to Tom Bracci with Raw FTD and Joseph Lagdao with PAX FTD. Thanks to everybody who made this event possible.

2023 Points Event #1 Lime Rock B Paddock Saturday May 13
FCSCC will be starting our 2023 Autocross season at Lime Rock Park in the B paddock on Saturday May 13, 2023. Gates open at 7:00 AM.

This is an open event for FCSCC and CART members and non club members as well.
Club members $70
Non members $90
There will be no lunch provided and there are not many places to get lunch so please brown bag it for lunch.

2023 FCSCC Membership

Membership Dues for 2023 are:
$50 for Individual Membership
$70 for Family Membership
Once you pay for membership, we will verify your car number for the season.
NOTE: All 2023 members have priority to renew their car numbers through the first Points event. If your membership lapses, your number may be released to a member requesting that particular number.
We will be accepting Fairfield County Sports Car Club membership for the 2023 season through MSR!
By joining, you will receive the following:
– Reserved car number for racing season – CONFIRMED #
– Reduced entry fee to each FCSCC autocross event
– Entry to members-only events such as test and tunes
– Free pizza dinner at each club meeting at the first Tuesday of each month
– Voting privileges at each club meeting (family memberships get one vote)
– Annual tech sticker (only do 1 tech inspection for the year; must be a 2nd-year autocrosser)
– Entry into year-end class championships with class winner receiving a championship jacket (or other year end trophy)
– Class winners also get the chance to drive the FCSCC runoff car at the year-end special FCSCC Autocrosser of the Year Runoff event
– Reduced cost dinner at awards banquet (total cost per dinner $10 approx)

John Williamson 1937-2023
It is with great sadness that we learned that John passed away on Friday Jan 27, 2023 with his family by his side. John was a past president and an integral part of FCSCC for many years.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Thursday afternoon from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
