The first autocross of the season had weather pretty much the same as the rookie school the day before -- cold and windy. The day still saw seventy-one drivers register for the non-points event. The turnout was probably due to the chance to run on the big South lot, featuring a course design by Tom Bracci which made excellent use of the available space. Tom's course was open and flowing, but contained traps for drivers not looking ahead or who got greedy. Ryan Nielson volunteered for his first time as event chair, and handled the job with aplomb. Drivers got seven competition runs, and plenty of fun runs.

Congratulations to Keith Scala for taking both Raw Fastest Time of Day and PAX FTD, and Michael Gowdar for setting fastest Rookie time.
