RIP Keith Scala

The club received very shocking and sad news the other day. Keith Scala passed away in his sleep Sunday night after running that day with FCSCC. Keith was a long time member and also held many club offices including President for many years. While President he took it upon himself to organize and run the SCCA Street Survival program with FCSCC. Keith was a die hard rotary fan and won a CS national championship in an RX-7 in 1985. Until recently he had driven an RX-8, but he came back out this year to drive his 2021 Mercedes CLA45 AMG. He was driving that car this past Sunday, posting a time that put him in the top 10 for raw and PAX.

Keith, you will be missed.

The early morning conditions were overcast, but the sun came out later in the day providing a lot of extra heat and the sprayers were being used liberally. Congratulations to Mark Daddio in his 2019 Mustang GT350 for both PAX and raw FTD!
