The club received very shocking and sad news the other day. Keith Scala passed away in his sleep Sunday night after running that day with FCSCC. Keith was a long time member and also held many club offices including President for many years. While President he took it upon himself to organize and run the SCCA Street Survival program with FCSCC. Keith was a die hard rotary fan and won a CS national championship in an RX-7 in 1985. Until recently he had driven an RX-8, but he came back out this year to drive his 2021 Mercedes CLA45 AMG. He was driving that car this past Sunday, posting a time that put him in the top 10 for raw and PAX.
Results are posted for our 6/27 Points Event. Fifty five drivers got 9 runs on a course built by Tom Bracci. The early morning conditions were overcast, but the sun came out later in the day providing a lot of extra heat and the sprayers were being used liberally. Congratulations to Mark Daddio in his 2019 Mustang GT350 for both PAX and raw FTD!
You can find these results and other previous results on our Results Page.
Results are posted for Points Event #4. 56 competitors enjoyed a comfortable morning heat and a warmer afternoon heat that caused the sprayers to come out. The event ended with a total of 7 runs. Congratulations to Mark Daddio in his Mustang Shelby GT350 for both PAX and Raw FTD!
Sixty people attended our third points event run by Event Chair and President George LeMoine. The rain held off and while the day was a bit chilly and windy, overall the conditions were good. Attendees were treated to seven runs on a course designed and built by Tom Bracci and Rick Obert. The club also provided a complimentary luncheon for all attendees. Congratulations to Bob Davis for raw and PAX FTD. Results are posted on our Results Page.
